Which program should I choose?

Updated: Nov 29, 2019

Are you confused with what to eat??

If so, I'm not surprised at all. It can become immensely confusing. In fact, I have spoken to many clients who have no idea which regime to follow. There are so many 'diets'' "detoxes' and 'fads' around. Social media regularly bombards us with information about new regimes, the best way to lose fat, feel better, improve your skin, etc: you can 'go on the lemon detox' or 'go keto' or 'drink celery juice' or 'only eat bananas', or 'drink celery juice every morning'.

What to eat can become overwhelming for many people.

I'm not knocking different ways of eating, for certainly many of these ways of eating help people. We all have different bodies, lifestyles, values and health issues. I don't believe in the one size fits all approach to food.

I do however believe that we need to have a healthy diet/approach to food, and to ensure that we get all the nutrients that our body needs: protein, carbohydrates and fats, as well as minerals and vitamins. Organic food is best for our body. I also believe that sometimes we need support to get into better health and that what we eat is so important for our physical, mental and emotional health. There is new research coming out all the time about the importance of gut health. With all my clients, addressing dietary intake is central to our plan towards better health.

I currently offer 3 different programs which each approach "food' quite differently.

I've written this article to help you get an idea of which would be most suitable for you.

Option 1:

Over the years I've had a number of enquiries about a cleanse that doesn't involve supplements or buying lots of obscure stuff.  This is why I have recently started offering a 21 Day Wholefood Cleanse. This Cleanse be done as a 1:1 consultation or in a small group.

The Cleanse offers a supportive environment where you modify your diet to include more wholefoods, and less processed or packaged foods. It is aimed at reseting cravings and creating healthy habits and teaching you about the common toxins we are exposed to, how they create havoc with our health, the impact of sugar, how toxins create mineral deficiencies and more. You are provided with some recipes and suggested meal plans. All details here

Option 2:

The Health Reset is a 4 Week Detox Program that is more specific for those who have chronic health issues with complex symptoms and have been exposed to toxins or parasites, or who have hormonal or skin issues. In this situation we need to support both the phase one and two liver detoxification pathways, as well as the gut and the kidneys. Or they may have heavy metals or other substances to detoxify. I have a detailed questionnaire for clients to fill out to determine their specific supplement needs. This program goes much deeper than the 21 Day Cleanse as it thoroughly supports the elimination processes and sets up the body for some deep healing. Read about it here.

Option 3:

I also offer the 8 Week Shake-it Weight Management Program, which is designed for those who want to lose weight, and is specific for you if excessive weight may be influencing other body systems or health conditions. You may be at risk of developing diabetes or metabolic syndrome, or you may be a yoyo dieter who finds it either really hard to lose weight or that it comes back on straight away. This program aims to reset your metabolic setpoint. There are two eating style options (keto and low fat) which have been carefully planned to ensure that you get all the nutrients you require in a day to keep your body healthy and you aren't hungry. You receive weekly emails and have regular contact with me to assist you with staying on track and dealing with any hiccups on the way. This Program also gives you the support to maintain the healthy weight once you are there. Read about it here
